NEW YEAR: EKITI NULGE LEADERSHIP SALUTES MEMBERS’ SUPPORT

…restates commitment to agitate for better benefits for members

The leadership of the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employee, NULGE, Ekiti State Chapter has rejoiced with members of the union across the state for witnessing another year.

In a statement in Ado Ekiti, president of the union, Comrade Oluseyi Olatunde appreciated the support of members for the union executives in the last year and urged them to continue in such positive spirit.

He prayed God to grant their heart desires and preserve them to witness many more years on Earth.

The statement reads:”On behalf of the SAC and SEC, I comrade Olatunde, want to wish you the best compliments of the season.

“I recognized and applauded your efforts, sacrifices, cooperation and support for our great union, especially in the outgone year.

“You have always been resolute in our concerted effort and desire to consolidate on the achievements of the past leaders in the quest to build a union that we can all be proud of.

“As we March triumphantly to this new year, it is my prayer that we shall all be blessed, the new year shall be rewarding to all of us by the grace of God.

Olatunde promised the readiness of the leaders to continue to fight and agitate for better welfare for members.

He siad:’We are irrevocably committed in our efforts to actualise the dreams and desires of our members in the areas of payment of all outstanding salary arrears, deductions, leave bonuses, implementation of all outstanding promotions, implementation of the consequential adjustment of minimum wage across board especially for grade level 14 to 17, appointment of more permanent secretaries, appointment of more Executive secretaries, appointment of more HLA’s, and the host of other good things for local government service.
