NAWOJ Election: Ekiti receives vying member from Ondo

…as candidate promises inclusive governance

In view of November 25th, 2023 Nigerian Association of Women Journalists, NAWOJ National Election, Ekiti Chapter of the Union has received the Ondo State vying member.

The candidate who is also the present National Financial Secretary of NAWOJ, Comrade Adeola Adekunle, embarked on the visit as a means to campaign in the State.

During the visit, Adekunle disclosed her intention to compete for post of the Vice President of NAWOJ, Zone B, noting that, she would bring the nationals down to the Southwest if voted for.

She said, “We cannot have a wall without a crack, I belive there is a crack in South west, which I have come to merge. I want to promote common interest and unity among members in southwest.

” I understand that we speak in one voice in South West, I would bring down the nationals closer to the Southwest if given the privilege to serve. I believe, with my team achieving this, would be possible.”

Sequal to this, the Chairman of the Nigerian Union of Journalists, NUJ, Lion Rotimi Ojomoyela, pointing out the need for democracy he called for a free and fair election, adding that members should vote candidates who will take responsibility.
