NAWOJ, Ekiti Head of Service Partner for girl child advocacy, quarterly operations

The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ), Ekiti State Chapter, has forged a strategic alliance with the new State’s Head of Service, Mrs. Folakemi Olomojobi, for girl child advocacy, quarterly operations and support women’s growth in the state.

The partnership was sealed during a courtesy visit by NAWOJ members to Mrs. Olomojobi’s office, where they discussed potential collaboration and areas of mutual interest.

According to the State Chairperson of NAWOJ Mrs. Adewumi Ademiju, the association is committed to advocating for the girl child, quarterly operations, and supporting women’s empowerment in the state.

Mrs. Olomojobi commended NAWOJ’s dedication to women in journalism and pledged her support for the association’s initiatives.

She emphasized the need for collaboration to address women’s challenges and promote gender sensitivity, saying “if you fail to fulfil your God-given potential, it’s a sin,”

She discussed her cervical cancer sensitization campaign, urging women to prioritize their health.
