National Union of Electricity Employees in Ekiti State Extend Congratulatory Messages to Newly elected National Officers

The leadership of the National Union of Electricity Employees Ekiti State Council wishes to congratulate the newly elected National President of the Union, Comrade (Engr.) Adeyeye Adebiyi Opeyemi on his victory at the just concluded National Delegate conference held in Enugu State under the watch of the National President of Nigeria Labour Congress, Comrade Joe Ajearo and the Electoral Committee of the Union.

The NLC President ensure that the electoral process that produced the new President Elect was fair and transparent because its his constituency and it has to be exemplary to others affiliates union

The union also celebrated Comrade (Engr.) David Ehigiamusoe who emerged as the National Vice President (West) as well as Comrade Ogunsola Joel Sunday who won the seat of the C.E.C West .

In a statement in Ado Ekiti, the State Chairman of the Union, Comrade (Engr.) Saka Tunde Kayode and the Secretary, Comrade Oderinde Folorunsho expressed confidence in the ability of the new National Leaders to bring positive changes to the union and take it to an enviable height.

They prayed to God to give them the wisdom, knowledge and understanding to be able to deliver on their key promises.

Comrade (Engr.) Saka Tunde Kayode and Comrade Oderinde Folorunsho promised the readiness of the Ekiti Council to cooperate with the new officers towards the realization of their dream for the union.

Ekiti State Council wishes to express gratitude to all the secretariat staff and delegates that ensures that the electoral process was seamless and devoid of any rancour.

The State Council also pledges their unalloyed loyalty to the National and Western zone Secretariat.

They also congratulated all other National Officers who emerged from the election and urged them to justify the confidence reposed in them.
