Also, he said that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is countering fuel subsidy removal pressure by engaging human capital development to set Nigerians on progressive cadre.

Speaking further he revealed, “The President said in his speech that the central focus is human capital development, to give Nigerians the power, infrastructure and access to capital. Our objectives is for Nigerians to do what they want to do and take care of themselves. Nigerians have to live beyond handouts and palliative to have a sustainable development, which is why the 2024 budget addresses many of these issues.

Commenting on the death of the Ondo State Governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, he described the late Governor as a detribalised Nigerian who has stood for the masses, adding that Ekiti, as part of the old Ondo State sympathises with the people of Ondo.

“It is deeply shocking and distressing, he (Akeredolu) is a man that I know personally; I have the access to engage him quite a number of times. Nigeria lost a truly detribalised Nigerian, a fierce defender of the truth and one who was truly a man of the masses. I think it will take a long time for us to have people of his own statue again. The consolation that I have is that he has a strong desire in naturing the people of the future general.” He said.
