More Banks to join NESS Fee Collection Team, says FG

The Minister of Finance, Budget, and National Planning has approved the appointment of Coronation Merchant Bank Limited, Parallex Bank Limited, and Lotus Bank Limited as additional designated banks responsible for the collection of fees related to the Nigeria Export Supervision Scheme (NESS).

This was disclosed via the official Twitter page of the Central Bank of Nigeria on Tuesday.

The statement read: “This notice serves to inform all Authorized dealers, service providers, and the general public of the Minister’s approval regarding the appointment of the following additional designated banks for NESS fee collection:

“The banks are; CORONATION Merchant Bank Limited, PARALLAX Bank Limited, LOTUS Bank. In light of this development, all Authorized dealers are urged to promptly communicate this information to their exporting customers.”
