Mass Protest: Drama as NLC barricades Ekiti Roads

Drama ensued  in Ado Ekiti on Tuesday, as workers disrupted free flow of traffic to protest failure of government to resolve the prolonged strike by university workers.

The labour union who came out  to press home their demands, barricaded the roads in the state capital with various inscriptions on their placards.

The student unions were not left out as they expressed disappointment over Federal Government’s insensitivity to the plight of the lecturers.

Following the development,  motorists and commuters were stranded for hours a situation which affected economic activities.

The road was blocked after no representative of government showed at the House of Assembly to receive nor address them.

The workers described the action of government as disrespectful.
