KAJOLA LCDA TURNS SOD FOR UTRA MODERN ADMINISTRATIVE BLOCK

…as Chairman, Ojo Ajayi promises more development projects.

Ekiti State Deputy Governor, Chief Monisade Afuye has laid the foundation of an ultra modern administrative block and five units of lock-up shops in Kajola Local Council Development Area, Ijesa Isu-Ekiti.

Apart from the laying of the foundation, some projects undertaken by the Acting LCDA Chairman, Chief Ojo Ajayi were also Inaugurated.

The Projects Inaugurated by the Deputy Governor, Chief Monisade Afuye alongside former Deputy Governor, Chief Paul Alabi include conversion of open market stalls to lock-up shops, reconstruction of submerged ring culverts, renovation of Areta Health Centre, Erection of Cenotaph of Fallen Soldier in Ijesa Isu-Ekiti, empowerment of Windows and distribution of school materials to indigent Students.

Inaugurating the projects, the Deputy Governor, Chief Monisade Afuye said the purpose of creating LCDAs in the state had started yielding positive results through inauguration of various projects carried out by Council Chairmen in the state.

Chief Afuye lauded the determination of the Kajola LCDA Chairman for utilizing the resources available for the growth of the people.

The Deputy Governor therefore promised the continued determination of the state government to bring more dividends of democracy to Residents of Ekiti State.

The Acting Chairman, Kajola LCDA, Chief Ojo Ajayi said the projects were embarked upon to boost the socio-economic lives of the people as a way of fulfilling the reasons behind the establishment of the council.

Chief Ajayi acknowledged Governor Oyebanji for his financial support being given to Council areas across the state, which has enabled them to carry out various projects.

The Kajola LCDA Chairman however urged youths in the area to shun criminal activities and other social vices that were inimical to growth.

In a remark, a former Deputy Governor of Ekiti State, Chief Paul Alabi appreciated Governor Biodun Oyebanji for approving the LCDA to be sited in Ijesa-Isu, which he said has been contributing to the growth of the town.

The Obanla of Ijesa Isu-Ekiti, Oba Oso Adeniyi and an indigene of the area, Professor Samuel Fafure also commended the present administration in the state for its giant strides, while calling on the Governor to continue his good deeds.
