The United States, US has alerted Nigerians to desist from individuals claiming to offer US Youth programme scholarship.
The US Mission to Nigeria revealed this in a press statement published on its Twitter handle @USinNigeria.
According to the statement, the scam is orchestrated on WhatsApp and other digital media.
“ScamAlert: Beware of false information by scammers on WhatsApp and social media claiming to offer full scholarships for U.S. Embassy Youth Development Program for young Nigerians. Don’t fall victim to this scam. Visit our website for reliable information on U.S. Mission Nigeria programs: ng.usembassy.gov.”
