I’ve forgiven Buhari, says Gov Ortom

…tasks Incoming Administration to tackle Herdsmen Activities

The outgoing Governor of Benue State, Samuel Ortom has stated that he has forgiven President Muhammadu Buhari.

The Governor made this known today during an interactive session on Arise News where he also said that the Administration of Buhari has exergerated the insecurities in Nigeria.

Recall that, Benue has been attacked severally by herdsmen in the past years which instigated the establishment of the Benue State Community Volunteer Guards, as a result of the alleged Federal Government, FG negligence according to the Governor.

Ortom said, “I have forgiven Buhari, he has ruled the country from top to bottom but I must say that his administration has not favoured the country as much as we expected. “

In line with this, the Governor tasked the incoming Administration, on the need to combat the activities of herdsmen in the country as according to him, is a mitigant against the peace of the Country.
