International Institute of Journalism Elects New Student Representatives

…President-Elect Assures Students Better Representation

In a bid to create relational medium between students and the school management, International Institute of Journalism, IIJ, Ado Ekiti Campus has elected Student Representative Council, SRC.

The election which took place at the school premises, Ado-Ekiti had Mr Olusola Akanji Oyeola as the President, Christianah Fawale as the Vice President, Taiwo Olawatoke as the General Secretary, Segun Ayomide as the Public Relations Officer, Rosemary Olufunmilayo as the Welfare Director and Oniyelu Fadekemi as the Treasurer.

In an interview, the president elect, Olusola while giving his acceptance speech, guaranteed the students a selfless and pleasurable service.

He promised to maintain cordial relationship between management and students.

Earlier, the chairman, Academic Board of the Institution, Akogun Tai Oguntayo congratulated the new officers and urged them to justify the confidence reposed in them.

Also, the Coordinator of the institution, Mr. Dare Daniels promised the readiness to sustain the legacy of the Institution which are academic excellence and discipline.
