INTERIOR MINISTER MOVES TO LOCALISE PASSPORT PRODUCTION

The Minister of Interior Hon. (Dr) Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo has moved to leverage on improved technology, saying that such moves will justify public confidence in President Bola Tinubu administration.

This is coming following a high-powered meeting between the Minister and a Nigeria based technology company, SecureID, held in Abuja.

The leader of the SecureID, Kofo Akinkugbe is the founder and CEO of SecureID who led the team to the Minister, disclosed that the organization has played significant roles in leveraging on technology to make life easier for individuals and corporate organisations.

SecureID, is an Africa’s leading manufacturer of smart cards and other identity documents.

The team presented a proposal on localizing Nigeria international passport production.

The Minister, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo emphasized that all required structures and processes are being put in place to justify the confidence the people have in President Tinubu’s capacity to restore the lost glory of the country.

The Minister added that Nigerians should not pass through difficulties before they have access to basic requirements of life.
