Insecurity: Nigeria Police urges vehicle owners to enroll new digital Registry

The Nigeria Police Force has called on citizens to enroll their vehicles in the digitalised Central Motor Registry (CMR) so as to combat insecurity in the country.

The Force Public Relations office, Prince Olumuyiwa, made the call in a statement on his X account @Princemoye1.

According to him, enrolling in the Digital CMR Initiative will Protect Vehicles, Strengthen the Law Enforcement, Crime Deterrence, aid faster investigation and support national security.

He said, “We hereby urge Nigerians to embrace this transformative initiative. By enrolling your vehicles in the digitalised Central Motor Registry (CMR), you contribute to the collective effort in enhancing security and ensuring a safer environment for all.”
