I’M INDEBTED TO YOU, EKITI LAWMAKER-ELECT APPRECIATES IKOSUN PROGRESSIVE UNION

The lawmaker-elect for the Ekiti North Federal Constituency (II), at the House of Representatives, Akinlayo Davidson Kolawole has extended his sincere appreciation to members and leaders of the Ikosun Progressive Union IPU over their support for him and his party during the just concluded 2023 elections.

Akinlayo Kolawole in a statement made available to newsmen in Ikosun Ekiti confirmed that he is highly indebted to the union for all they did for him with a promise that he will never take their love and support for granted.

The lawmaker-elect noted that he was overwhelmed by the massive support he got from members and leaders of the union saying they stood for brotherhood.

He prayed God to continue to uphold the union and take it to greater heights.

He said:” To whom much is giving, much more is expected, even the Bible confirmed that we should be appreciative.

“Aside the fact that I am a member, I observed that Ikosun Progressive Union is devoted and committed to development of Ikosun Ekiti.

“The union can go any length to fight for any course they believed in especially when it has to do with fellow Ikosun and this is what I enjoyed during my election.

“I’m indeed grateful to the union and I will continue to play my role to sustain her progress.

Akinlayo Kolawole also appreciated the traditional ruler of Ikosun Ekiti and the Ikosun in council as well as various aged groups, women, youths, artisans and his immediate family for their support with a promise to justify the confidence reposed in him.
