I’ll Make Special Case for Persons with Disabilities…Akinlayo Kolawole

The candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, for the seat of Ekiti North Federal Constituency 2, Hon. Akinlayo Davidson Kolawole has promised to initiate bills and programmes that will enhance the wellbeing of persons with disabilities in his Constituency and the country at large.

Kolawole made the promise in a statement to commemorate this year’s World Braille Day which  is an international day set aside by the United Nations to celebrate and create awareness on the importance of braille as a means of communication in the full realization of the human rights for blind and visually impaired people.

The lawmaker hopeful who expressed displeasure over the hardship many special persons are going through, volunteered to make case for them if given the mandate to serve.

He noted that many persons living with disabilities are often blessed with special abilities by God which could be harnessed to make their lives better and also enable them contribute meaningfully to the growth of the society.

Kolawole noted that his intention to serve at the National Assembly was not for fun of it but to make meaningful contributions that will make life better for his Constituents.

He said: I have plans and lofty ideas that I have stock piled and ready to work on if elected, I am not going to Abuja to become a bench warmer, I am going to the house to make positive impact and changes.

I will make friends and partner relevant agencies to get employment for our youths, facilitate Federal Government projects and ensure empowerment of our women.

My tenure will  bring peace and economic development to Ekiti North, hence I am calling on my people to support me, vote overwhelmingly for me and  I will make you proud.
