Head of Service in Ekiti Conferred As Fellow of Nigerian Society of Engineers

The Head of Service in Ekiti State, Engr. Sunday Komolafe has been conferred as Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers, NSE, for his meritorious service to the society.

Komolafe received the special award during the 2023 celebration of New Fellows and Annual Dinner of NSE, Ado-Ekiti branch.

Describing the Head of Service as a leader and mentor of high repute, the State branch expressed unreserved gratitude to him for doing the branch proud on the success story of using his office to implement the long desired harmonization of grade levels of Engineers in the State.

The 2023 celebrations of New Fellows and Annual Dinner with the theme; “Professionalism in Engineering Practice: “Panacea for Infrastructure Failures” witnessed the celebration of new Fellows of the NSE including the Head of Service; Engr. Olumide Ajayi FNSE, Permanent Secretary Ministry of Infrastructure and Public Utilities.

Others are; Engr. Atere E.P, Permanent Secretary Ekiti State Electricity Board; Engr. Adeola Johnson, Rtd. Permanent Secretary Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development; and Engr. Tope Fatukasi, Director Civil Engineering Department, Ministry of Works.

Special award were given to other notable individuals such as Rt.Hon.Olagbaju Bolaji-Egbeyemi Deputy Speaker Ekiti State House of Assembly; Hon. (Erelu) Tosin Aluko, Commissioner for Environment; Hon.Karounwi Oladapo, Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development; Professor Mrs. Olufunke Akinkurolere and Professor A O. Adeoye.
