The Prime Minister of Israel Naftali Bennett has blamed Hamas for its ongoing military contact with Hamas, saying that Hamas tends to kill as many Jews as possible.
He said this lately on his X handle @naftalibennett
He said, “On Gaza casualties. As long as Hamas exists and continues to do everything it can to increase deaths of Gaza people, indeed, the casualties will continue. Hamas alone holds responsibility for this.
Speaking on the solution, he said, “The quickest way to stop this is to help Israel—or at least not interfere—eradicate Hamas. Hamas has two goals: To kill as many Jews as possible; To have as many Gazans die in order to have the world stop Israel from eliminating Hamas. Israel is going to great lengths to eradicate Hamas with minimal civilian casualties.
“But we have no magic wand to prevent Hamas from placing civilians in harm’s way. We are now operating in densely populated areas.
Also, he called on Gaza civilians to leave the war area, “We are calling on civilians to move to designated safe zones and clear the combat areas. This has worked fairly well until now. It’s not pleasant, but it’s the best that can be done to save lives.
“On October 7th, Hamas massacred, tortured, raped and burned over 1200 Israelis just because they were Jews.
This was without any provocation.
There was a full ceasefire in place.
“Hamas declares it’ll do this again if it can. So, you see, Israel doesn’t really have a choice. All Israelis, left and right, stand united behind this goal of eliminating this horrific terror organisation. As long as it takes. You would do exactly the same.” He noted.
