A middle aged man identified as Babalola Oladeji, been allegedly killed in Onireke area of Ibadan, the Oyo State capital by yet to be known persons.
An anonymous source told Journalists that the incident happened at about two o’clock in the afternoon.
The source said the victim was on his way to his mechanic workshop when the killers ambushed him and open fire on him.
However, sources said the bullets didn’t penetrate his body, hence the killers went further to strangulate him until he gave up.
Confirming the incident, the Oyo State Police Public Relations Officer, Adéwálé Oshifeso said investigation had commenced on the incident.
