Gridlock as plastic truck falls on Ekiti road

A truck loaded with plastic wastes on Tuesday fell on the busy Ijigbo roundabout of Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State which and caused traffic congestion for travellers and commuters.

It was gathered that the incident occurred when the truck tried to manoeuvre the busy roundabout while heading towards the Ajilosun axis of the city.

When our correspondent visited the scene of the incident, it was observed that the truck fell off to the ground and blocked one section of the road leading to traffic congestion.

An eyewitness noted that occupants of the vehicle didn’t sustain much injury as they came out unhurt.

Meanwhile, it was also observed that officials of the
Ekiti State Traffic Management Agency were seen controlling the traffic situation.
