Nerus Elemamba, a 30-year-old Federal Polytechnics Nekede graduate in Imo State, is said to have committed Suicide.
Roundoffnews gathered that the body of the deceased was discovered hanging in his room on Monday night in his village in Umuohii, Oboama community in the Imo State local government area of Ezinihitte Mbaise.
According to reports, the suicides occurred after helping his peers with the day’s physical duty in the village.
Report has that the deceased, who majored in architecture in school, didn’t exhibit any depressive symptoms.
“He is a graduate of Architecture from the Federal Polytechnic in Nekede. Until yesterday (Monday) morning, he was very healthy and participated in the village youth manual labour.” The source said.
The the source also stated thay, “the reason for his action is unknown to anybody.”
Another source confirmed the discovery of the dead body hanging in the room of the deceased, stating that the deceased never left any suicide note.
The second source said, “Nerus participated in the youth manual labour work yesterday (Monday) morning, looking very healthy before the unfortunate scenario occurred.”
The village youth leader Iheukwumere Ibeh, disclosed this morning and said that the villagers were shocked by the demise of Nerus.
The youth leader said, “This is shocking. Nobody knows the reason for his actions. He didn’t leave any note behind. He was not married. He is between 30 and 31 years of age. He was not taken to a mortuary. He is being buried as we speak. This is after the required cultural rituals to appease the land have been carried out.”
