Governor Oyebanji To Attend Sustainable Investment Summit In Germany

Governor Biodun Oyebanji of Ekiti State and his team are set to attend the 6th Sustainable Investor Summit (SIS 6) in Germany from 16 to 17 May 2023.

The Sustainable Investor Summit is a yearly event organized by the Institutional Capital Forum based in Germany as a communication platform for corporate leaders, investors, and other stakeholders to discuss investment opportunities and practices with a view to ensuring economic growth and global sustainability.

SIS 6 will showcase current developments, investment opportunities, and risks across all asset classes and relevant geographical markets.

Governor Oyebanji will meet with investors, entrepreneurs and other stakeholders with the purpose of attracting foreign investments to Ekiti State in key sectors and areas such as agriculture, forestry, mining, aquaculture and irrigation, skills export, tourism and technology.

The governor will also be seeking to take advantage of the Free Trade Zone status recently approved for the Ekiti Knowledge Zone by President Mohammadu Buhari to facilitate foreign direct investments into Ekiti State.

Governor Oyebanji will present Ekiti State’s ambitious goals, implementation plans, and policies and incentives in place to attract investments into the State.

Over a hundred business leaders, decision-makers, members of academia, and various stakeholders within the global sustainability space will be in attendance at the event.
