Tragedy was averted when a moving truck suspected to have been hired by the Ekiti State Waste Management Authority, EKSWMA, suddenly developed brake failure, causing it to run into the traffic, smashing vehicles.
The unfortunate incident occurred on Monday, at the popular Fajuyi Park Roundabout in Ado-Ekiti.
Though a vehicle and motorcycle was involved in the accident, our reporter gathered that there was no casualty recorded.
As at the time of filing this report, traffic wardens stationed in the area were on top of the situation to control vehicular movements.
