A group, “No Mother No Information”, NMNI, has taken a Girl-Child Initiative Message to Christ Girls Secondary School, Ekiti as a means to combat moral decadence and female molestation in the society.

The Programme which happened to be the first anchored by the Group took place in Ado-Ekiti today, tagged “Making the best use of life.”

Commenting on the Programme, the Initiator, Christopher Deborah opened up on the inspiration behind the Programme said, the movement was inspired by the observed decadence amongst young lass as a result of information scarcity about morals and modesty for the coming generation.

She said, ” I had this vision long time ago about girls as this days, we see most of them doing the wrong thing because they don’t have enough information and people to tell them what is right or wrong.

“The theme of the Programme is “Making The Best Out of Life,” because at this stage they need to make the best use out of their lives in terms of their career, spiritual life, relationship because most of them are keeping abusive relationships and most of them are going into sexual immorality.

“We came to tell them that, this is not the stage to start keeping boy friends because at the end of the day, they won’t be able to achieve anything. We came to encourage them that live a good life because God is interested in their lives and they can still become what God wants them to be. This whole Initiative is to enlighten them on the information they need to become better mothers in future.”

More so, revealing the concept as inspired by God, Deborah expressed confidence in the Initiative to change the negative orientation the girl child has concerning morals, relationship and purity, disclosing intention to host the next session by December.

Also, speaking with some of the secondary school girls, Aderemi Taiwo from the department of Science having partaken in the lecture, promised to imbibe them by inculcating purity and modesty in her conducts and life style.

Similarly, Ajisafe Faith from the department of science promised to uphold the concept of purity until marraige and to stand out in terms of morals and modesty irrespective of peer presures.

Meanwhile, the conveyers, charged all female victims of sexual abuse and molestation to be optimistic and make the best use of their lives, saying, there is more beyond the pain.
