FUOYE’s Engineer Folasade Adebayo Appointed into COREN Council

Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji has approved the appointment of Engr. Folasade Adebayo as Member representing the Southwest geopolitical zone in the Council of the apex engineering body the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria, COREN.

This is contained in a letter by the COREN Registrar , Engr. Prof. Adisa Ademola Bello, in Abuja.

The appointment which took effect from 2nd July 2024 will last for statutory 3 years.

Engr. Folasade Adebayo, who is the first female Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers in Ekiti State and Fellow of the Nigerian Institution of Civil Engineers as well the past Chairman of the Association of Professional Women Engineers of Nigeria APWEN is currently a Deputy Director, Works and Sevices, Federal University Oye-Ekiti, FUOYE.
She has served the Nigerian Society of Engineers NSE in various capacities.
Mrs. Adebayo, a princess from Epe-Ekiti, in Ijero Local Government area of Ekiti State will represent interests of Lagos, Ogun, Oyo, Osun, Ondo and Ekiti States at the COREN Council.
