Philanthropist to Provide Fuel Assistance to Okada Riders, Motorists in Ekiti

A philanthropist, an indigene of Ado Ekiti and the Founder of Opeyemi David Falegan Foundation, Hon. Opeyemi David Falegan has again decided to give out free petrol to commercial motorcyclists also known as Okada riders and motorists in the state.

The palliative intervention which will take place at Adekaitan petrol station along ilawe road Falegan area of Ado Ekiti on Saturday July 27 and august 3 this year.

This was disclosed in a press statement released by the foundation’s Director General, Comrade Ajibola Samuel emphasized that, the Okada riders will come up on 27th why that of the motorists will come up August 3.

Speaking, the DG said the periodically gesture is based on the founder directive to support others to cushion the effect of the fuel subsidy removal.

”This is why my principal decided to help the people of Ekiti. “

He said about 5000 people had benefitted this year alone, adding that enough of petrol have been provided to be dispensed to motorists and Okada riders again in Adekaitan filling station along ilawe road.

According to him, Okada riders have befitted twice this year, tricycle operators, motorists, private vehicles users had earlier benefitted.

He called on motorists and Okada riders to be orderly when benefiting in the gesture.

He strongly advised political thugs and machineries to clear the venue of the distribution.
