Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike has said that the former National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Iyorchia Ayu has nothing to offer.
Wike is among the G5 Governors who insisted that Ayu must resigned for them to support the party’s Presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar.
Speaking in an interactive session with journalists Wike said, “So, you can see that he has nothing to offer to the party. We won here which means we have something to offer to the party. Ayu has nothing to offer to the party”.
Meanwhile, the PDP has appointed an acting national chairman, Umar Ililya Damagum to oversee the party affairs, however, Wike discredited the development saying that it means little.
