Former councillors in Ekiti score Governor Oyebanji High, describe him as blessing to Ekiti

Former Councillors who served in Ekiti State have showered encomium on Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji over his proactiveness and laudable programmes which they said are all inclusive.

The councillors who spoke during an engagement with the Director General, Office of Community Communications in the Ekiti State, Mrs. Mary Oso-Omotosho noted that Oyebanji has been a blessing to Ekiti State

In their reactions, some of the past councilors, Mrs Olabisi Olowolafe from Ikere, Mr Oluwagbenga Jinadu from Ado Ekiti and Mr Amos Oluwadare from Erijiyan Ekiti noted that their comments were not out of bias and sentiment but based on facts which they are all aware of.

They commended the leadership style of Governor Oyebanji and promised to support him always..

The former Councilors appreciated the Governor for the payment of their entitlements, saying he had displayed his Omoluabi and true democrat by doing so.

They appealed to the Governor to get rid of bad eggs who may want to work against his second term bid.

Addressing the councillors, the Director General, Office of Community Communications in the Ekiti State, Mrs Mary Oso-Omotosho called on APC members and residents of Ekiti State to support Governor Biodun Oyebanji beyond first term in office based on his good intentions for the state.

Mrs Oso-Omotosho a support for Governor Oyebanji woul allow them to enjoy more dividends of good governance.

The Director General explained that the present administration led by Governor Oyebanji had touched different sectors in the state such as economy, infrastructure, education, politics Security, hence the need for him to be supported to do more.

She told the gathering that Governor Oyebanji meant well for the state, saying such prompted him to give priority to the welfare of workers, pensioners, youths, aged, politicians, irrespective of their political and religion affiliations.

Mrs Oso-Omotosho appealed to them to continue preach the good gospel of the present administration in their various wards and desist from any activities that could affect the image of the BAO led administration.

The DG later gave out grains to the past political office holders as form of palliative to cushion the effect of high cost of food affecting the nation
