FLOOD SACKS COMMUNITY IN EKITI

Flood has sacked some residents of Amu-Olokemeji, Odo Ado area of Ado Ekiti, the state capital.

The flood was as a result of downpour recorded on Monday which lasted several hours

Speaking with Roundoffnews.com, some of the victims of the incident noted that many houses were submerged by the flood while occupants were said to have fled for safety of their lives.

Property worth millions of naira were also destroyed by the disaster.

It was also gathered that three commercial motorcyclists who dared the flodd were swept off and their safety could not be ascertained as at the time of this publication.

The victims called on the state government to come to their aid.
