Five Ekiti Doctors Appointed to Chair NMA National Committees

The Nigeria Medical Association, NMA, has appointed five doctors in Ekiti State as Chairmen of different National Committees.

The new Committee Chairmen include: Dr. Obitade Obimakinde, Chairman Committee on Indoctrination of Young Doctors; Dr. Tunji Omotayo, Chairman Committee on  Doctors’ Safety and Security; Dr. Kayode Ariyibi, Chairman Committee on Alternative/Complimentary Medicine Affairs; Dr. Kamal Alabi, Chairman Treatments Guideline Development and Dr. Omonisi Abidemi, Chairman Communiqué Drafting Committee.

In a statement, NMA Secretary, Ekiti State Branch, Dr. Moses Dada said the five distinguished members of NMA Ekiti State were appointed by the NMA President, Dr. Uche Ojinmah, following the active and robust involvement of  Ekiti NMA in national matters.

According to Dr Dada, the appointees  are  charged to discharge their duties effectively.

He urged the doctors to see their appointment as a call to service.

The NMA Chairman and the SOC felicitated  all the appointees and wished them success in their new positions.
