FG PROMOTES 29 FRSC OFFICERS, MEN IN EKITI

Federal Government has promoted twenty nine FRSC officers and men in Ekiti state. This followed the recently concluded 2023 promotion exercise held nationwide.

In an elaborate decoration ceremony held in the Sector Command in Ado Ekiti, one officer was decorated with the rank of Deputy Corps Commander, another with the rank of Chief Route Commander, two officers with the rank of Route Commanders and eight with Deputy Route Commander ranks while Sixteen other marshals were equally decorated with new ranks during the event.

A senior officer promoted to the rank of Corps Commander was early decorated at the commands zonal headquarters in Ilorin.

The Sector Commander Federal Road Safety Corps ,Ekiti Sector Command, Corps Commander Elijah Olusola Joseph, in his congratulatory message enjoined the newly promoted staff to be more dedicated and proactive in the discharge of their duties to enable the FRSC maintain its enviable height attained over the years.

Speaking on behalf of the newly promoted Officers, Deputy Corps Commander Adedoyin Adediola thanked the president Bola Tinubu and the corps marshal for the elevation and promised to work harder to justify the new status.

He pledged that the promoted staff would embrace the challenges that comes with the new ranks for the general good of the corps.

The ceremony was attended by officers from other security agencies, families,friends and colleagues of the celebrants.

The promotion cuts across all FRSC formations in Ekiti State.
