FG Launches $600 million Technology Base Programme for Young Nigerians

…calls other African Govt to support Innovation

The Federal Government has launched a $600 million programme for young Nigerians in the technology and creative sectors.

This was disclosed by the Special Assistant on Digital Communications to the President, Bashir Ahmad via his Twitter handle, @Bashir Ahmaad.

According to Bashir, “the programme will support young Nigerians ranging from ages 15-35 who are entrepreneurs and involved in early stages in creative, innovative and technology-enabled ventures.”

The FG called on African governments and the private sectors to support the growth of innovation in the continent.
