FCT: Wike to channel revenue to identified project

By Udesinanna Stephen

The former Governor of Rivers State, now Minister, Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, has commenced inspection of projects in Abuja, saying that revenue will be channelled to identified projects.

Wike made this known today via his X handle @GovWike.

The Minister’s inspection cut across the Usuma Water Project, Gurara Road and other projects being undertaken by the FCT Administration.

He said, “To this end, we have identified some projects and tied our Internally Generated Revenue to their funding via Irrevocable Standing Payment Orders (ISPOs).

“To overcome the challenge of abandoned projects, we wouldn’t spread our finances too thin but focus on completing projects in batches. This way, we are certain of funding and completing these projects within definite schedules agreed with the contractors.” He added.
