Former Presidential candidate, Adamu Garba has revealed that he met Aminu Dantata, the Nigerian billionaire, to discuss National issues, saying that the present generation needs to reclaim Nigeria’s lost glory.
Garba, who did not give details of the meeting, made this known on his Twitter handle @adamugarba.
In his words, “Today I had the pleasure of meeting Nigeria’s finest and treasured industrialist, foremost philanthropist, deeply resourceful and highly intellectual elder statesman of repute, Alhaji Aminu Dantata.
“We had over three hours of conversation around everything. Life, world history, business, politics, Nigerian evolution, including BRICS, etc. and we also discussed about the future and what our generation needs to do to reclaim Nigeria’s lost glory.
“At 96 years old, I found him of sound mind and good health. He recalled everything, with dates and locations from the 1940s till date. I was thrilled by his level of cognition, much more than most people, even within our age bracket. Nothing short of the Grace of Allah surrounding him.
“I have learnt a lot, much more than I have learned in any book or any classes I have been in. What a treasure! Baba is not just a blessing to Nigeria but to Africa and the world. What fascinates me more about him is his highest sense of patriotism and deep believe in the Nigerian Project. I am truly inspired.” He said.
