Ex-Corps Members Promise to Utilise SAED knowledge After Service

The 2022 Batch A Stream 2 Corps members who just passed out in Ekiti State, have expressed optimism in utilising the skills they acquired from the Skills Acquisition Education Development (SAED) during their service year.

They stated this on Thursday, while interacting with Roundoffnews media reporters shortly after receiving their Discharge Certificates at the NYSC pavilion, Ado-Ekiti.

According to one of the ex-Corps member, Ede Ogene, who engaged in cosmetology during service year said, he intend to establish his cosmetology business after service. “I don’t want to be an employee, I will love to be self employed, so I will be going into the business”.

He also adviced other Corps members to get a skills and do not procrastinate. “Time flies, never procrastinate what ever you think you can do, what ever skills you want to learn, what ever you can accomplish make sure you do it within the stipulated time because time flies. Try and get a skill, try and build yourself.

Also speaking with another ex corps member, Precilia, who learnt the skill of tie-dye said that she would engage into the skills after service. She also advice serving corps members to learn a skill during service year.

More so, another passing out Corps member, Chiemerem Blessing, who is into shoe making and bag making advised Corps members to engage in SAED and gain it benefits.
