Election Suit: US Court gives Chicago Versity 2 days to release Tinubu’s Records

Following the controversy on the February 25th Presidential Election in Nigeria and the Atiku Abubakar suit filed before the United States, US District Court in the Northern District of Illinois against President Bola Tinubu, the Court has ordered the Chicago State University to release the academic records of Tinubu within 48 hours.

This order was instituted by Judge Jeffrey Gilbert on Tuesday, September 19, 2023. stating that CSU should release “all relevant and non-privileged documents” to Abubakar Atiku, the plaintiff, within 48 hours. 

Roundoffnews recalled that, the People’s Democratic Party, PDP Presidential Election Candidate, Atiku Abubakar filed a law suit before the US District Court in the Northern District of Illinois against President Bola Tinubu with a ruling which propelled the Court to order for the release of the President’s academic records.
