ELEBUTE-HALLE PAYS CONDOLENCE VISIT TO FAMILY OF LATE APC CHAIRMAN SAYS OMOTOSHO’S DEATH PATHETIC

A Former Governorship candidate of the Action Democratic Party in the 2022 Ekiti gubernatorial election, Erelu Kemi Elebute-Halle, has condoled the family of late Chairman of the All Progressives Congress in Ekiti State, Barr. Paul Omotosho.

In statement released after a condolence visit to the country home of the late Chairman in Imesi-Ekiti, Erelu Elebute-Halle said she was shocked and devastated by the sudden death.

She said late Omotosho died when his services and interventions were most need in the political landscape and governance of Ekiti state.

Erelu Elebute-Halle added that Mr Omotosho’s sudden departure had created a huge vacuum in the hearts of Ekiti people, his political associates, and his well-wishers far and wide.

She stated that the late politician played a prominent role in the success of the APC in Ekiti State, particularly the 2022 governorship election.

The statement partly reads; “Mr Omotosho’s sudden death has created a huge void in the hearts of well meaning Ekiti people, his political associates, and well-wishers far and wide.

“The late politician played a prominent role in the success of the APC in Ekiti State, particularly the 2022 governorship election and the 2023 general elections in which APC recorded massive political gains

“Omotosho was a politician of uncommon courage, a gentleman per excellence who carried out his activities without fear or favor.”

Erelu Elebute-Halle, who had just announced her defection to the APC, then prayed that the family the departed soul peacefully left behind will have the fortitude to bear the loss.

She also commiserated with Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, the Ekiti State Government, and the APC family both at the state and national level
