A stalwart of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Ekiti State, Erelu Kemi Elebute-Halle, has doled out cash gifts and food items to 100 women in Oke Ayedun Ekiti.
The empowerment was carried out during the 5th coronation of the Alaaye of Oke Ayedun, Oba Olufemi Aribisala, at the palace playground.
Elebute-Halle, who was the Action Democratic Party governorship candidate in the Ekiti State 2022 Governorship Election said the empowerment was to alleviate the suffering of the people of the town.
The first female governorship candidate in Ekiti State added that she would continue to help the needy for as long as she has the capacity for it.
While appreciating the Oke Ayedun monarch, Erelu Elebute-Halle solicited his support and prayers for Governor Biodun Oyebanji of Ekiti State in order to fulfill his mandate for the people.
on his part, the monarch appreciated Erelu Elebute-Halle for celebrating with him, calling on the well-to-do in the society to emulate her kind gesture.
Oba Aribisala also prayed that the Almighty will continue to endow her with more resources to help the people of the community and beyond
Some beneficiaries hailed the kindness shown them by Erelu Elebute-Halle and prayed that she would continue to wax stronger in all her endeavours.
