EKSU SHINES AT NMCN EXAMINATION

The forty nine (49) Nursing Science students of Ekiti State University, Ado – Ekiti presented for the Professional Basic National Midwifery Examination have made the university proud by recording 100 % performance.

The examination was conducted for 500 level students of Nursing Science in Nigerian Universities by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN).
The students presented for qualifying Post – Basic Midwifery Examination passed the three (3) papers of the examination.

Three (3) of the students had credits in Papers I & II, while five (5) recorded a credit each in Paper II totalling eleven (11) credits in the examination.

Arising from the above, the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN) has approved Ekiti State University, Ado Ekiti as an Examination Centre henceforth.

The Vice Chancellor, Professor Babatola Ayodele, while receiving the report of the students’ outstanding performance was elated and congratulated the students and the entire members of staff of EKSU College of Medicine for achieving the laudable feat.

He encouraged them not to rest on their oars and promised his administration ‘s continuous support for the College.
