Ekiti Woman Based in America defrays hospital bills of 11 indigent patients at EKSUTH

… leaves beneficiaries with tears of joy

An Ekiti woman based in America, Ms. Bukola Elizabeth Ojo, popularly kmown as IB GOLD, has supported the medical bills of eleven patients receiving treatment at the Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital, Ado-Ekiti in commemoration of her fiftieth birthday.

The beneficiaries cutting across patients from different wards with different medical situations were carefully selected in synergy with the hospital management and coordinated by the Executive Director, Divine Motivation for Positive Impact Initiative (DMPII), Mr. Gbenga Emiloju.

The sum of two million Naira was distributed among the beneficiaries based on their outstanding bills with the hospital.

The donour, Ms. Ojo who spoke with the patients and hospital management virtually said the gesture was her personal conviction to assist those in need and make meaningful impact in the society.

She promised to do more with the help of God.

Some of the beneficiaries including Mrs Iyunade Adenike said the donation came at the right time saying it was indeed a relief.

Some of them who were shedding tears showered prayers on Mrs. Ojo.

Also speaking, the Director Nursing Services, Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital, Ado Ekiti, Mrs Stella Falana lauded Ms. Ojo for her philanthropic spirit, noting that her contribution would significantly go a long way to relief the patient who are struggling to settle their bills due to the current economic situation.

In attendance was the younger brother of the celebrant, Elder Babalola and other family members to present the cheques to the beneficiaries.
