EKITI STATE LOCAL GOVERNMENT SERVICE COMMISSION CELEBRATES NEWLY SWORN-IN PERMANENT SECRETARY

Staff of the Ekiti State Local Government Service Commission on Friday held a befitting reception for the newly sworn-in Permanent Secretary in the commission, Mrs. Titilayo Toba-Ojo.

The venue of the reception for the first female Permanent Secretary in the commission in Ado Ekiti was filled to capacity as friends, family and staff of the Ekiti State Local Government Service Commission besieged the place to rejoice with Mrs. Toba-Ojo.

Speaking during the programmme, Chairman on the occasion, Chief Alaba Abejide represented by a Commissioner in the commission, Prince Adesuyi Aladesanmi congratulated Mrs Toba-Ojo on her elevation to the exalted position, saying her hardwork and dedication to job earned her the position

Chief Abejide uged the Permanent Secretary to justify the confidence reposed in her by using the position to improve the services of the commission.

Also, the President of the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees, NULGE in Ekiti State, Comrade Oluseyi Olatunde expressed joy that the newly sworn Permanent Secretary was appointed within the commission and prayed God to grant her wisdom and understanding to do the assignment.

Comrade Olatunde who attributed the achievement to the cooperation of staff of the State Local Government Service Commission appreciated Governor Biodun Oyebanji for the appointment and asked for more of such

In her remark, the newly sworn-in permanent secretary, Mrs Titilayo Toba-Ojo sought for the support of every staff of the local government across the council areas.

The Permanent Secretary who promised to justify the confidence reposed in her and support Governor Biodun Abayomi’s administration to achieve success, urged women to aspire for greater positions like their male counterparts.

The Ekiti Sate Local Government service Commission troop added colour to the event with traditional songs .
