Ekiti State Cultural Troupe goes on performance tour of Netherlands

The Ekiti State Performing Arts Company will be on a performance tour in Netherlands.

According to the Leader of Delegation, Ekiti State Commissioner for Arts, Culture and Creative Economy, Prof Rasaki Ojo Bakare said the serial award-winning Cultural Troupe, will be in the Northwestern European country from wednesday 27th of September 2023 to 8th October, 2023.

While in Netherlands, the troupe will have a 2-hour command performance on October 1st for the Nigerian community at The Hague in commemoration of the Nigerian Independence day.

The Troupe will perform on October 4th at Wassernneer for the Diplomatic Corp to commemorate the National Day, before storming the Nollywood Festival 2023 in Amsterdam on October 5th.

Hon Bakare added that the Troupe will use the opportunity of the tour to impress international stakeholders so as to attract international investors to Ekiti State Creative and tourism sectors.

While hailing the Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji for funding the trip, he said the troupe will return to Ekiti on 8th October 2023 to continue with the preparations for a command performance of FAJUYI, a stage play holding on 14th October, 2023.
