Ekiti SSG, Attorney General Take Oath of Office

The Secretary to Ekiti State Government, Dr Habibat Omolara Adubiaro has taken oath of office.

The oath of office was administered on her by the Executive Governor of Ekiti State, His Excellency, Mr Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji on Monday morning at the conference hall of Governor’s office.

The Governor in his speech after the swearing-in ceremony, congratulated Dr. Adubiaro on her new appointment and expressed optimism in her capability to deliver on the task of her responsibilities.

Also sworn-in alongside the SSG is the Commissioner of Justice and Attorney-General, Dayo Apata (SAN).

The Governor said, “Today’s occasion is significant as we are all aware that the office of Secretary to Ekiti State Government and commissioner of Justice serve as an important nomenclature of this government. This is underscored by the fact that
it is established by the constitution of the federal republic of Nigeria.

“I therefore want to congratulate Dr. Adubiaro who has been called upon to serve at this crucial time”

Oyebanji further stated that the office of Secretary to Ekiti State Government requires someone who is competent, loyal and committed which he said is part of good attributes of Dr. Adubiaro.

The Governor therefore charged the appointees to be up to the task in their responsibilities.

In attendance at the swearing-in ceremony were, the First Lady of Ekiti State, Dr.(Mrs) Olayemi Olajumoke Oyebanji, Deputy Governor, Chief(Mrs) Monisade Christianah Afuye, Deputy Speaker, Rt.Hon. Hakeem Jamiu, Ekiti APC State Chairman, Barrister Paul Omotosho, his vice, Hon. Sola Elesin, Chairman, Ekiti traditional council and Onisan of Isan-Ekiti, His Royal Majesty, Oba Gabriel Ayodele Adejuwon, Eyesorun of Ado-Ekiti, Olori Abosede Adejugbe, the Grand Imam of Ekiti state, Alhaji Jamiu Kewulere and other important dignitaries.
