EKITI REFEREE COUNCIL CHAIR COMMENDS NFF PRESIDENT, NWFL CHAIRPERSON OVER VISIT TO EKITI AS NWFL KICKS OFF

The chairman of Ekiti State Referee council, Mr. Adesina Oguntuase has commended the President of the Nigeria Football Federation Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau for his visit to Ekiti State to observe the opening Nigeria Women Football League NWFL between defending champions Delta Queens and debutants Ekiti Queens.

Oguntuase also commended the chairperson of the NWFL Mrs Nkechi Obi for visiting the state.

Speaking after Gusau’s visit, the chairman of the referee council described visit of the number one football administrator in the country as a testament that football in the state is growing.

While reacting to the commencement of the NWFL, Oguntuase called on organizers of the league to ensure a level playing ground that will further enable teams to compete fairly.
