Ekiti Prince Unveils Ultramodern Residential Building at hometown

An illustrious indigene of Iworoko-Ekiti, Prince Akinola Farinde has called on other sons an daughters of the town to join hands towards the growth of the community.

Prince Farinde made the call during the opening of his ultra modern residential building located along Ifaki road, Iworoko-Ekiti.

He said the development of the town should be paramount to the indigenes, hence the need for them to be up and doing.

According to him, the efforts of bringing growth to the community should not be left to government, rather it required concerted efforts of the citizens.

The Prince said he decided to erect the building in his hometown as a way of making the town look attractive among others in the state.

“I have houses in other places, but I decided to build this one which I started from foundation to completion level in Iworoko my hometown because I thought it won’t be good if I don’t have a house here”.

Prince Farinde who is from one of the royal ruling houses in Iworoko-Ekiti expressed readiness to embark on projects that would boost the social and economic activities of the town.

“This is just the beginning, I’m thinking of starting something lucrative in which people of this community will benefit from, but the first thing is to have a home here in my fatherland”.

“Iworoko is strategically located, there is no way you wants to go to some towns in Ekiti state that you will not pass through our community, so the geographical location is good for businesses and companies, this is why I’m urging indigenes of the town to think of business they can do to grow its economy”.

“I resides in Holland, so I have started negotiating with some companies over there on the possibility of bringing something here, I have also been to the United Nations headquarters to speak with one of those who can help us about water and other things in Iworoko”.

He however appreciated those who came to rejoice with him on the housewarming, saying the was one of his happiest days on earth.

The housewarming ceremony of Prince Akinola Farinde was attended by important personalities, royal fathers, among whom is the Oluyin of Iyin-Ekiti, Oba Adeola Ajakaye, leaders of market women, a business tycoon, Chief Julius Ajayi, popularly known as Little By Little, who is also from Iworoko and other well wishers.

During the ceremony, prayers were offered for Prince Farinde to succeed in his future ambition and endeavours.
