EKITI NURTW HAILS GOVERNOR OYEBANJI FOR EXTENDING PALLIATIVE PACKAGE TO MEMBERS

….endorses Oyebanji for second term

Members of the National Union of Road Transport Workers NURTW, Ekiti State Council have appreciated Governor Biodun Oyebanji for deeming it fit to capture them in the rice distributed to residents of the state as part of palliatives to cushion effect of the economic hardship.

The drivers appreciated the Governor when their Chairman, Chief Joseph Falope distributed the bags of rice to their representatives across the sixteen local governments of the State.

Speaking during the distribution at the union house, along Federal Polytechnic Road, Ado Ekiti, some of the branch representatives including, Ojo Adeleye from Ekiti Southwest local government, Ayanyemi Olajide from Moba, and Pastor Ayodele Olusola from Ilejemeje promised to give their full support to Governor Oyebanji’s future political aspiration.

Also, Adeyemi Babajide from Ido/Osi, Sunday Oludaisi from Ijero local government, Akinrotimi Busuyi from Igede branch and Otunba Oloruntimilehin Akintunde-Ureje branch, Ado-Ekiti commended the leadership style and open door policy of Chief Joseph Falope, saying such was exceptional.

Others who spoke including Odunayo Akingbamigbe-Ise Orun, Boluwade Titus from Emure, Bakare Ashiru-Ekiti West local government, Joseph Ajayi-Efon Alaaye, Olajide Thomas of Ikere local government, Oloruntoba Ayodele-Ekiti East, Omotoso Kayode-Gbonyin, Fasiku Ajayi-Ikole local government and Akomolafe Rotimi-Ilupeju-Ekiti urged residents of Ekiti State to continue to support the government of Governor Biodun Oyebanji.

Earlier, the Chairman of NURTW in Ekiti State, Chief Joseph Falope known as Oloforo urged members of the union to continue promoting Governor Oyebanji in their various branches and ensure that the rice gets to all members no matter the quantity.

The Ekiti State NURTW Chairman appealed to his members to always obey traffic rules and continue to be peaceful while discharging their duties.
