EKITI NULGE HAILS APPOINTMENT OF FORMER ALGON CHAIRMAN BY GOVERNOR OYEBANJI

…says Governor has great foresight for quality

The Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees, NULGE, Ekiti State has congratulated a former Chairman of the Association of Local Government of Nigeria, Engineer Stephen Olabode-Adetunji on his appointment as the Technical Advisor to Governor Oyebanji on Local Government Affairs, Project Monitoring and Evaluation.

In a statement in Ado-Ekiti, the state NULGE President, Comrade Oluseyi Olatunde described the appointment of Engineer Olabode-Adetunji, known as Skido as a round peg in a round hole considering his wealth of experience and expertise.

The Ekiti NULGE President appreciated Governor Biodun Oyebanji for appointing Engineer Olabode-Adetunji to the exalted position saying the Governor has a very strong ability to discern quality.

Comrade Olatunde expressed confidence in the ability of the former ALGON Chairman in Ekiti State to perform excellently and assist the Governor to achieve meaningful progress in the local government system of the state.

He urged him to justify his appointment by doing everything within his capacity to provide necessary advice to the Governor on various projects so as to ensure that those in charge deliver to specifications.

The President promised the readiness of the Union to continue to reciprocate the Governor’s gesture through massive support for his administration.
