Ekiti NSCDC Parades Two Persons For Alleged Killing of Commercial sex worker

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, Ekiti State Command has paraded two persons in connection with an alleged abduction of a suspected commercial sex worker.

Parading the suspects at the Command’s headquarters along Ado/Ikere road, NSCDC Commandant in Ekiti State, Mr. Sunday Agboola said the command received a complaint on Tuesday this week, alleging the kidnap of a twenty six year old, Comfort James.

According to the Commandant, the victim was last seen on the sixth of at her residence Isato Street, Ado-Ekiti when She was picked up at a brothel by a twenty five year old Saviour Daniel and never returned.

He explained that Saviour Daniel and his accomplice, one David Isaiah, upon being contacted by the victim’s friends demanded a ransom of one million naira as condition for her release which they were unable to raise.

Mr. Agboola said his men swung into action and were able to apprehend the suspects, when interrogated, the suspects admitted that they kidnapped the victim in the false guise of engaging her services as a commercial sex worker.

The Commandant Agboola noted that the suspects confessed to have rape the victim repeatedly, killed her afterwards and dumped her remains in a nearby farmland, while they stole the deceased cell phone and continued to demand ransom from her friends and family.

Mr. Agboola said investigation is still ongoing on the matter, adding that such would be made public.

He assured Residents of the state that the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps and all other security outfits in the state were committed to the fight to ensure safety of lives and property.
