EKITI NSCDC INTERCEPTS VEHICLE WITH STOLEN GOATS

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps Ekiti State Command on Monday along Ado Ikere Road Ekiti State, intercepted a Toyota Camry car that is full of goats suspected to have been stolen from different locations.

The car with registration number LSR 84 AY Lagos was recovered along EKSU Road.

According to a statement by the spokesperson for the corps, Tolulope Afolabi, the driver of the vehicle on sighting the operatives of Counter Terrorism Unit of the command and in the process abandoned the car and ran away with other occupants.

The suspected stolen goats numbering about 30 were concealed inside the car with gags in their mouths to disallow them from bleating.

The Command is therefore calling on farmers in the state to please visit CTU base of NSCDC along Afao Road to identify their goats and as well as giving workable information to the command on how to apprehend the culprits.
