EKITI JUDICIARY MOURNS LATE EKITI ASSEMBLY SPEAKER

Ekiti State Chief Judge, Hon. Justice John Adeyeye has described the death of the Speaker, Ekiti State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Funminiyi Afuye as a colossal loss to Ekiti State and Nigeria in general.

In a statement made available to the Press by Ekiti State Judiciary Chief Registrar, Adesoji Adegboye Esq., Justice Adeyeye commiserate with the government and good people of Ekiti State on the demise of Hon. Afuye.

The Chief Judge described late Afuye as a proud son of Ekiti extraction who during his life time was cool, calm, collected, a perfect gentleman and epitome of legislative excellence, his love for Ekiti Assembly and other arms of government was unparalleled, Justice Adeyeye added.

While commiserating with late Hon. Afuye’s immediate family, his political associates and Ekiti State in general, Justice Adeyeye prayed for his soul to find repose in the bosom of God.
