It is often said, that one good turn deserves another.
This was indeed the picture obtainable on Tuesday in Ado Ekiti as members of the National Association of Community Health Workers of Nigeria, Ekiti State Chapter, celebrated the Permanent Secretary of Ekiti State, Local Government Civil Service Commission Mr Tayo Samson Olauyi on the occasion of his retirement and 60th birthday.
At the ceremony which took place at the premises of the Local Government Service Commission, Ado Ekiti, the leadership of the community health workers showered the PS with gifts and kind words for his contributions to their careers progression.
Cultural troops were not left out as they made beautiful presentations in honour of the Celebrant.
In an interview,, the Chairman of the National Association of Community Health Workers of Nigeria, Ekiti State Chapter, Mr Olatunbosun Temitope, described the Celebrant as a man of possibility who always work hard to put smiles on his Employees’ faces.
He also added that career progression of his subordinates has been his priority with the limited time he spent in the office.
According to him, “Mr Tayo Samson Olauyi is a man of possibility, a man who is desired to put smiles on faces of the employees of the local Government Service Commission and every other people around him.
“He has been able to support our career structure and let me say significantly here that, it is good to be good” He concluded
However, the Ekiti State Head of Service, Mrs Peju Babafemi, also expressed her delight and described the Retiree as ‘an iconic civil and public servant in Ekiti, as well as people’s person.’
The body of permanent secretaries, ably represented by Pastor Sesan Alabi equally wished the Celebrant well and entrusted an entreaty for his retirement days to be more fruitful and productive than the subsequent ones.
In the same vein, the executive Secretaries, portrayed him as ‘ a man of history, quintessential administrator, an embodiment of calmness who has listening ears and a man of possibilities, who doesn’t compromise standards but, improvise them instead.’
Also present at the occasion were the arrays of Royal Dignitaries, political office holders, permanent secretaries, andwell wishers.
